We wanted to give you all an insight into our almost daily life in Dominica. This amount of rain is not uncommon and can be highly inconvenient. Ironically, our water has been turned off for about 4 hours now and will be brown and cloudy for several days. We are lucky to still have electricity. This is also the time when we see the big creatures in our apartment i.e. the 9 inch centipede...

So we had a monstrous ant infestation today... no centipedes for us, but about a hundred ants... yuck!
P.S. That's one heck of a mudslide down Banana Trail!
Some people just don't know when to come in from the rain.
