Last Thursday commenced 2 weeks of pure agony for 2
nd semester medical students. In 14 days, Josh has three practical exams, 5 shelf exams, and his final comprehensive exam on April 24
th. That is 9 tests in 14 days (including weekends). Each of these tests takes anywhere from 0
ne hour to three hours to complete. Josh has been studying everyday for about a month in preparation for these exams. He comes home every night completely exhausted.
Andy and Josh studying together!

Today was his first shelf exam. He walked in the door after his exam and didn't want to do anything but sit down and stare at the
TV. He looked like an abused puppy. After lunch, Josh went into the other room to study, or so I thought. This is what I found!

Poor guy! Keep him in your prayers. He has 8 days until freedom!

Josh, Welcome to graduate education. No more power walking classes to fill your schedule.
It's the pits, but in just a few short years it will be well worth it. We are proud of you.
Poor thing...tell mom and dad that they need to take you both out for some really nice dinners when they get there. We're proud of you Josh.
I love the fetal position. So funny! Does he always sleep like that? Is there room for you in the bed? Best wishes to Josh!
He actually usually sleeps like a mummy, on his back with this arms crossed over his chest. Very creepy! But sometimes the fetal position too!
