The second cache lead us into downtown Roseau to a closed restaurant. We were disappointed that we couldn't see the cache but at least we "found" it. After our trip to boiling lake, we received how cool it would be to start a cache at the lake. But neither of us are willing to take that journey again! I think we should pay someone who is already going to set one up for us.
After geo-caching, we walked around Roseau searching for some goodies for Brandon and Lauren to bring home. Then we jumped in our rental car and headed down to the most southern point of the island, Scotts head. It was beautiful and had some of the best snorkeling I have ever done.
I almost forgot to tell you about the other car story. Like most things on this island, you can never predict when a store will run out of a product or when a new shipment will arrive. We were not aware that this happened with gasoline. We had to take Brian to the airport and our car literally had no gas. We didn't know if we even had enough gas to drive around looking for gas! Every gas station we knew of had tape over the pumps or handwritten signs that said "No Gas". So we called our local friend Ren and asked him if he has any gas we could buy. He asked where we were and said he was on is way. I was hoping that meant yes. 15 minutes later Ren shows up and tells us to follow him. He lead us to his friends house to buy black-market gas! That's right. We had to swear not to tell anyone that we bought gas from this guy. Hilarious! At least we were able to get Brian to the airport and it is yet another memorable experience in Dominica!!
